Choosing Proverbs..

Today they began to choose their proverbs. one girl, Dalia, came in with 85 proverbs. A lot of them were really far out and bizarre, but we eventually got them all to choose one. They deconstructed them into something they could understand, then they wrote a scenario. This exercise took us 3 hours in the afternoon. We had to give them a huge amount of help! Some kids decided they wanted to have a dialogue in their films, but we had to stress that these are silent movies!

Eventually, they are ready, and tomorrow its storyboarding, and if we are lucky, and I mean that, we can shoot the first film!
